Imagination Playground

Imagination Playground

What is play and why is it important?
Imagination Playground encourages unstructured, child-directed free play - the kind of play that is most beneficial to a child's intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth. Play involves unstructured activities that children choose and direct on their own. When a child chooses to play, they open their minds to imagination and creativity.  Children can play most creatively when they can manipulate the settings around them.  With Imagination Playground, children can design, construct, demolish and redesign countless structures.

Why is play important? Play is the primary means through which children develop.  Children develop their thinking trough social interactions.  When children are allowed to direct their own play, they broaden their eperiences, increase their level of imagination, extend their language skills, increase motor skills and most of all, exercise their mental strength.
